Prepare for the end of the year

Tax season will be here before you know it.  The SBA recommends you to review your financial statements as of June 30. Make sure you’ve made accurate estimated tax payments.  And meet with your tax adviser about anything you’re doing differently this year and any tax changes you need to know about to be ready for 2016.

New York’s minimum wage goes up to $9 an hour from its present $8.75 on Dec. 31, 2015. Plan now for the transition, especially if your business is one that will be open on New Year’s Day.
